On what date were CVTech’s shares first issued?
The common shares of the Company (which, at the time, was known as Capital St-Charles inc.) were listed on the TSX Venture exchange on September 16, 2004 under the CPH.P stock symbol. On April 22, 2005, the Company took the corporate name of CVTech Group following a merger. On the same date, it moved from the TSX Venture to the Toronto Stock Exchange, where its shares listed under the CVT symbol.
For income tax purposes, how does CVTech's paid dividend qualify ?
Unless otherwise indicated, each dividend declared and paid by CVTech is an eligible dividend for the purpose of subsection 89(14) of the Income Tax Act.
